The 2019 China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as "CIFTIS"), co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, will be held in China National Convention Center from May 28 to June 1. Among them, "Smart City" is sponsored by BJAST and hosted by Beijing Exchange Center of Science and Technology.

Pre-Symposium on Promotion of 2019 CIFTIS "Smart City" was held in BJAST on April 30. More than 10 media including Beijing Evening News entered the BJAST to dig out the highlights of the smart city theme of the 2019 CIFTIS. Shao Jinwen, Vice President of the BJAST, attended the meeting.

Shao Jinwen introduced the whole situation of the Smart City Symposium of the 2019 CIFTIS and “Connect Global Intelligence, Create the Future” Future Metropolis Innovation and Development International Forum. "Smart City" thematic activities will focus on domestic and international development hotspots of smart cities, around the smart city related technologies including artificial intelligence, the fifth generation mobile communication (5G), big data, cloud computing and other key areas to carry out the promotional activities in the form of "1 + 1 + 1".

At the meeting, the heads of the co-sponsors of the Smart City Forum of CIFTIS introduced their organizations and participation conditions respectively, they said that they would build a platform for scientific and technological exchanges, cooperation and service trade in the field of smart cities at home and abroad together with BJAST with the help of CIFTIS platform.

During the interactive session, the participants answered questions from reporters related to the activities.
