On April 11, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China (MOHRSS) issued the No.46 Document [2019] Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on Printing and Distributing the 2019 Advanced Research and Study Project Plan of the Knowledge Renewal Project for Professional and Technical Talents (issued by the General Office of MOHRSS), and issued the 2019 Advanced Research and Study Project Plan of the Knowledge Renewal Project for Professional and Technical Talents. Among them, the advanced research and study project of Urban Safe Operation of Disaster Prevention and Reduction Technologies declared by the Safety and Environmental Protection Training Center of Beijing Municipal Institute of Labour Protection has been successfully approved, becoming one of 130 national research and study projects approved nationwide. It is worth mentioning that only 5 projects in Beijing have been approved.

In recent years, the Beijing Municipal Institute of Labour Protection has organized and carried out many advanced research and studies programs in the Safety and Environmental Training Center, which were approved in 2014, 2016 and 2017 respectively. This year, under the leadership and support of the BJAST and its leadership, the application plan of the Beijing Municipal Institute of Labour Protection came to the fore and was approved as the 2019 state-level advanced research and study project, and became the only approved unit of BJAST in 2019 after a series of selection processes including project selection, declaration of units, project review, expert review, recommendation from institutes, recommendation from municipal bureaus, and review from national ministries and commissions.

This research and study program is scheduled for September 2019, with the theme of Urban Operation for Disaster Prevention and Reduction Technologies. Authoritative experts will be invited to give lectures, carefully set up the contents of the advanced training, and combine various methods such as thematic reports, thematic discussions, etc., with a purpose of setting up the advanced research and study program as the Beijing Municipal Institute of Labour Protection’s brand program for training.
