On March 5, Beijing Exchange Center of Science and Technology hosted and arranged the delegation from Malaysia Petrosains Science Discovery Center to visit Beijing Museum of Natural History and Beijing Ancient Observatory respectively with the support of the two museums. Members of the Malaysian delegation include Ms. Azura Daud, head of the Corporate Communications Department of the Petronas Science Exploration Museum of Malaysia, Ms. Zalina Kamis, deputy director of the Arts and Sports Education Department of Malaysia's Ministry of Education, and the 2018 Champion of Malaysia Petrosains Science Festival Youth Competition and other six people.

Accompanied by Huang Lin, deputy director of BECST, the two sides discussed the direction of cooperation this year, including the organization of science popularization institutions in the institute to participate in the 2019 Malaysia Petrosains Science Festival and the exchange of science popularization talents and youth between the two countries. The delegation from Malaysia Petrosains Science Discovery Center thanked the center for its warm reception and said that both sides reached a consensus on continuing to strengthen ties and actively carry out exchanges and cooperation in the future.
