On October 31, Centralized Signing of Investment Attraction Projects of Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Tech Town and the Joint Groundbreaking Ceremony of Settled Projects were held in Baodi Economic Development Zone. Sun Wenkui, Vice Mayor of Tianjin, attended the ceremony. Xu Jun, Deputy Secretary General of Tianjin Municipal Government, Xuan Hong, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and General Manager of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Development Group, Guo Guangsheng, President of BJAST and others leaders, Xie Wei and Shao Jinwen, Vice Presidents of BJAST and other principals of Tianjin Development and Reform Commission participated in the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Shao Jinwen signed the strategic cooperation agreement with Zhongguancun Science and Technology Development Group and People’s Government of Baodi District, Tianjin.

Guo Guangsheng indicated that the signing of the agreement marks another solid step taken by BJAST in the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, and is also a concrete embodiment and responsibility of BJAST to implement Framework Agreement on Further Strengthen the Strategic Cooperation Between Beijing and Tianjin (2018-2020). This cooperation is of great significance to promoting the cooperation between Beijing and Tianjin to a deeper level. BJAST will implement the cooperation with the highest standards, strive to improve the level of collaborative innovation, promote the complementary sharing of innovation resources, space resources and policy resources, better serve the construction of Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Tech Town in Baodi District, and promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
