To further the development of high-tech industries, BJAST, the Beijing Association for Science and Technology and the Economic Science Press jointly held the High-tech Industry Innovation Ecology Forum on October 12. The forum is a key academic activity of the 26th Beijing Science and Technology Exchange Academic Month, and is organized by 9 institutions, including the Institute of Digital Economy of and the High-quality Development Research Center of the BJAST.
Jia Pinrong, Director of the High-quality Development Research Center of the BJAST, released the new book "Research on Innovation-Driven High-tech Industries" and the "Beijing High-tech Industry Innovation Ecology Index Report (2023)". The "Beijing High-tech Industry Innovation Ecology Index Report" constructs an evaluation index system including six key elements: diversity and inclusion, nutrients, metabolism, energy conversion, correlation between main factors, and environmental support. In 2024, the development of high-tech industries needs to pay special attention to the five major trends of accelerating cutting-edge technology, developing new quality productivity, accelerating total factor productivity, deeply integrating into greening, and building a digital core.
More than 70 researchers from the BJAST, Beijing University of Technology and other capital scientific research institutions and universities attended the meeting. Xinhua News Agency issued a press release, Beijing Daily reported on the forum's front page, and mainstream media such as Guangming Daily and Economic Daily, reported on academic activities for the first time.
