On August 10, Li Wenzhong, Secretary of the Party committee and Liu Liangang, President of Beijing Institute of Geology and Mineral Exploration, visited BJAST for investigation. Fang Li, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group, and Wu Jianmin, Deputy Secretary of Leading Party Members’ Group and President of BJAST, had a discussion and exchange with leaders of Beijing Institute of Geology and Mineral Exploration. Wei Wanshun and Liu Qingjun, members of the Leading v member of the Party group and vice Presidents of the BJAST attended the meeting. Wei Wanshun presided over the meeting.

The two sides introduced their institutions respectively and had in-depth exchanges on aspects including supporting the city's key work, providing social security services, improving the management of scientific research projects, improving the management of affiliated enterprises, and strengthening the construction of talent teams.
