In order to implement the Opinions of Women's Action for Scientific and Technological Innovation, vigorously carry out the "Women's Action for Scientific and Technological Innovation - Beijing Action" and further promote the coordinated development among outstanding women, the "Women's Collaborative Innovation Salon" sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Women's Federation was officially launched on June 23. The first salon was organized by the Beijing Association of Women Scientists and Technologists and co-organized by the Science Communication Center of the BJAST. Tan Hong, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice Chairman of the Beijing Women's Federation, delivered a speech. Li Jing, Executive Vice President of the Beijing Women's Association for Science and Technology, former Vice President of the Beijing Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Executive Member of the 12th all-China Women's Federation, presided over the salon.

The salon was held in four sessions, covering topics of extensive social concerns such as scientific eye care, artificial intelligence, traditional Chinese medicine and health, and space satellites, aiming to serve the mass of female scientific and technological practitioners and professional women.

The salon received a strong response from the audience, with 10,500 viewers and more than 9,000 likes in the live broadcast room. 793,000 viewers watched the live broadcast through the Beijing Youth Daily app, Beiqing Convergence Medium, Today's Headlines, Sina, Phoenix, KK live, Baidu and other platforms.
