On 16^th of February, Zhang Hongyu, the second level inspector of the Municipal Bureau of Finance, went to the Beijing  Museum of Natural History for investigation and discussion on the construction of the new venue. Wu Jianmin, deputy secretary of leading party members’ group and president of the BJAST, and Lu Yuguo, a leader of the BJAST, accompanied the investigation and participated in the discussion.

Zhang Hongyu conducted in-depth research on the specimen warehouse and exhibition hall of the exhibition (Collection) of the museum, and learned more about the collection of specimens, the protection and the development of scientific research and popular science activities.

Zhang Hongyu pointed out in his speech that the construction of the new Beijing Museum of Natural History is a key task highly concerned and arranged by the municipal Party committee and the municipal government. The Municipal Finance Bureau will strengthen the support for the construction of the new museum. Every project should be economical, the progress should be tracked regularly and coordinate and solve problems in time.

Wu Jianmin thanked the Municipal Finance Bureau for its strong support for the BJAST and the construction project of Beijing  Museum of Natural History over the years. He said that the BJAST attaches great importance to the construction of new Beijing  Museum of Natural History. The special group of the BJAST should carefully study the opinions and suggestions put forward by the Municipal Finance Bureau, fully implement the requirements of financial performance management, and promote the construction of the new museum in an efficient and standardized manner.
