Recently, according to the announcement of the 2020 ZGC Demonstration Zone Science and Technology Service Platform (Technology Transfer Category) included in the list announced by the Administrative Committee of ZGC Science Park, the BJAST was included. The announcement of the list covers 16 units including the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

In recent years, BJAST has actively participated in the innovation and entrepreneurship work of ZGC, providing services for the technological innovation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises. Since the epidemic, the BJAST has actively leveraged its advantages in scientific and technological resources to help enterprises in ZGC Park to resume work and production, and jointly organized the "ZGC Entrepreneurship Service +-BJAST Science and Technology Service" special series of activities with the the Administrative Committee of ZGC Science Park. The activities have attracted more than 300 companies, universities and institutes to participate and promote more than 30 cooperation intentions. The BJAST actively participated in the work of the ZGC Forum, held the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei & Israel Clean Technology Special Activity on the 2020 ZGC Forum Technology and Trade Release, participated in the launch of the ZGC Science and Technology Achievement Transformation and Technology Transaction Comprehensive Service Platform, the International Technology Transaction Alliance, and contributed to the ecological construction of innovation and entrepreneurship in ZGC.
