In order to promote the “Belt and Road” initiative and strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Pakistan in science communication, BJAST, Beijing Technology and Business University, Beijing Association for Science and Technology, Pakistan Science Foundation, and Pakistan Science and Technology Information Center jointly initiated the launch of the "CPEC Science Communication Network". The launching ceremony was held at the 5th Academic Forum on China-Pakistan Scientific, Technological and Economic Cooperation under the "Belt and Road" Initiative. Wang Li, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice President of BJAST, attended the launching ceremony.

 The main goal of the cooperation network is to build an information sharing platform, a public mutual aid platform, an academic exchange platform and a people-to-people communication platform for China-Pakistan science communication and exchange, and jointly create a brand event for China-Pakistan science and technology cooperation and promote the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

For many years, BJAST has carried out comprehensive strategic cooperation with scientific research institutions and universities in Pakistan. The Director of the Publicity Department of BJAST introduced the science education resources of BJAST and the key work carried out in the international cooperation in the field of science communication. The Director of the Division of International Cooperation of BJAST and the “Belt and Road” International Technology Cooperation Training Center donated original books published by BJAST to the Pakistani Embassy in China.

According to the connotation of the "CPEC Science Communication Network", BJAST will work with Pakistani science venues, institutions, enterprises and other social forces to further deepen cooperation and promote exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in science communication based on specific projects.
