From October 29 to 31, the 7th Chin-Europe Risk Forum was held in Tongzhou. With the theme of “integrating global resources to enhancing the resilience of cities and key infrastructures”, the forum was organized by BJAST and European Virtual Institute for Integrated Risk Management (EU-VRi), and undertaken by Beijing Municipal Institute of Labor Protection and Science and Technology Committee of Tongzhou District, Beijing. Guo Guangsheng, President of BJAST, Aleksandar Jovanovic, CEO of European Society for Integrated Risk Management and Principal of Advanced Risk Technology Group of Steinbeis University, Germany, Su Guobin, Deputy Head of the People’s Government of Tongzhou District, et al. attended the forum and delivered speeches. Nearly 150 people from 8 countries participated in the forum.

Guo Guangsheng pointed out that the forum is the result of long-term cooperation between the two sides, and also the specific practice of implementing the strategic cooperation agreement signed by BJAST and the Tongzhou District Government, and serving the sub-center construction of the city with scientific and technological innovation in line with the requirements of “world vision, international standards, Chinese characteristics and high-point positioning”.

Aleksandar Jovanovic indicated that European Virtual Institute for Integrated Risk Management (EU-VRi) and Advanced Risk Technology Group of Steinbeis University, Germany (R-Tech) established the Germany-Europe-China new cooperation model with BJAST and Beijing Municipal Institute of Labor Protection. The forum is an important platform to demonstrate the future direction of cooperation between the two sides.

At the forum, 12 domestic experts including Ding Hui, President of North China University of Technology, and 5 foreign experts including Aleksandar Jovanovic, CEO of European Virtual Institute for Integrated Risk Management made reports.
