• BJAST Signed a Cooperation Agreement with Steinbeis, Germany and European Society for Integrated Risk Management

  • On August 16, Guo Guangsheng, President of BJAST, conducted an exchange discussion with principals from Steinbeis, Germany and European Society for Integrated Risk Management.

    Prof. Michael Auer, President of Steinbeis, Germany, introduced the historical evolution and development concept of Steinbeis and the significance of international cooperation to Steinbeis. Prof. Aleksandar Jovanovic, CEO of European Society for Integrated Risk Management and Chairman of Steinbeis Advanced Risk Technologies Group introduced the research field and recent progress of European Society for Integrated Risk Management.

    Guo Guangsheng pointed out that the forum is the result of years of cooperation between the two sides and believed that its influence will further extend to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. He stressed that the international technology transfer platform should be built on the basis of the current cooperation among all parties, and it should be built into an exchange window for China and Germany in Beijing and even the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. He hoped to further strengthen cooperation and learn from internationally advanced urban governance experience and risk management model to solve major problems in urban development.

    Subsequently, the two sides signed a collaboration agreement to reach consensus on the issue that BJAST will participate in the organization of 2019 Sub-forum of World Congress on Risk.
