• Beijing Planetarium Invited Prof. Michel Blanc to Give a Public Lecture

  • On June 9, Beijing Planetarium invited Prof. Michel Blanc of Research Institute in Astrophysics and Planetology of University of Toulouse III, France to give a public lecture entitled “Next Stop Jupiter: Giant Planet Exploration and the Cassini Legacy”.

    In his lecture, Prof. Michel Blanc cited a large amount of primary image data of the Cassini-Huygens project to vividly reappear the discoveries and surprises of the Saturn exploration that year, and look forward to the future of human exploration plan for the next target -- the Jupiter system, especially for the exploration of several unknown large satellites of the Jupiter, which was warmly welcomed by the audience, especially teenagers.
