Beijing United Information Center of Science-Technology-Economy was founded in April 1993 and consisted of 75 units including the National Central Ministries and Commissions, the Army and municipal information organizations etc. The Center owns the science and technology literary information resources of those organizations based in Beijing and it can get on line with the 12 top information systems from home and abroad. The technology contracts registration office of BJAST is set up in the Center and it enjoys the registration qualification for imported technology contracts, mainly engaged in technology retrieval, registration of technological agreements and survey on market consultancy
